Healthy Start scheme provides vouchers for pregnant women and families who qualify. You can use the vouchers to buy milk, plain fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables at local stores. You can also get a coupon for a free vitamin supplements through scheme.

You are entitled to Healthy Start vouchers if you are at least 10 weeks pregnant or have children under four years old, and you or your family get one of the following :.

Tax Credit work run-on is a Tax Credit work you have received in the four weeks immediately after you stop working for 16 hours or more per week

You also qualify if you are under 18 and pregnant, even if you do not get any of the above benefits or tax credits

You can also get free vitamins under the Healthy Start Scheme. There is a drip-free vitamins A, C and D are available for children from six months until their fourth birthday.
