Pin on Healthy pregnancy food ideasHi all,
I will visit (ta && ta.queueForLoad ta.queueForLoad ?: function ( f, g) {document.addEventListener ( 'DOMContentLoaded', f);}) (function () {ta.trackEventOnPage ( 'postLinkInline', 'image', 'postLinks-16,954,445', '');}, ' log_autolink_impression '); for the first time when approx. 5 months pregnant. Just wanted to check out what the standard of food from local restos?
How to choose a restaurant that is safe ?? Or should I just eat at the hotel restaurant?
Thank you
(ta && ta.queueForLoad ta.queueForLoad :? functions (f, g) {document.addEventListener ( 'DOMContentLoaded', f);}) (function () {ta.trackEventOnPage ( 'postLinkInline', 'image', ' postLinks-16954704 ',' ');},' log_autolink_impression '); has some of the best food in the world !!! So do not just eat at the hotel, explore and enjoy. Pregnant or not, there are some basic things to keep in mind when eating out in Bali. This is always a good idea to have some sterile hand in your bag in this way you can wash your hands (without having to look for soap and water) before you eat. Eating in restaurants where you see the other Western meals. Many people who visit Bali to worry about eating a salad because the water used to wash them, but I never get sick of eating the salad. A good rule when traveling is that you should only eat food that has been cooked or that you can peel (but then again I do not stick to the rules). There are so many amazing restaurants in Bali - too many to list, but if you do a search on this forum for the restaurant you will see a lot of reviews. Head to Admiral at some of the best restaurants in Bali including ,,,, etc. One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of food in Bali can be very spicy, so if you find that bothers you, then steer clear. There are many options, so you will never go hungry.
In fact, some of the most kitchens are not healthy to be in a big hotel, went for a walk, see a visitor happy, soak in the aroma of the food was wonderful and as Elizabeth said, keep your hands clean with Dettol or Aquium that doesn 't water needs.
Hi
I personally agree with the other posts, I prefer to eat outside the hotel as well. I just researched on the forum popular restaurant in Sanur etc and go with my list to Bali and have never had meal.The bad people in this forum are mostly regular visitor or they stay there so they are a wealth of information.
Brigid list of restaurants (ta && ta.queueForLoad ta.queueForLoad :? function (f, g) {document.addEventListener ( 'DOMContentLoaded', f);}) ( function () {ta.trackEventOnPage ( 'postLinkInline', 'image', 'postLinks-16,957,178', '');}, 'log_autolink_impression'); was amazing and the best food I have ever eaten in my travels.
The hand sanitizer is great and friendly as possible to prevent stomach red bali, and even Yakult everyday too.
Thanks guys - it sounds good and I was really looking forward to experiencing the local cuisine! I'd read the reviews and compiles a list closer to the date: -)
Hi
I traveled to bali in March 2007 when I was 22 weeks pregnant with my child.
I eat everywhere and anywhere and does not hurt at all. However, I am sure that I wash my hands with baby wipes and used sanister hands before eating.
Some of the places that I did not eat: (ta && ta.queueForLoad ta.queueForLoad :? function (f , g) {document.addEventListener ( 'DOMContentLoaded', f);}) (function () {ta.trackEventOnPage ( 'postLinkInline', 'image', 'postLinks-16,975,701', '');}, 'log_autolink_impression '); restaurant, gift of the hotel's restaurant, planet hollywood (tho they did laugh when I ordered chips in the bread and butter, lol), hard rock, donalds mac, pizza hut, Korys (sure the spelling on poppies lane 2) is just a few we were in bali for 2 weeks so ate almost every night in a different place.
We took our son when he was about 9 months old and he eats what we eat and he does not prolems good again only applied to basic hygiene practices.
also to make sure I keep liquids me when pregnant and for my son we drank Powerade and gatorade (Dr recommended) ,
Hope you had a great trip and get plenty of rest !!!
Thanks Foley,
Do you also eat raw vegetables such as salad, fruit- fruits, fruit juices, etc.? Or do you just keep rice and meat dishes and chips etc;)
I like raw vegetables me but I realize they might pose a danger because they are washed in tap water ...
Cheers
Scoofy
I have been in Bali during pregnancy. just remember that pregnant women have a higher risk of listeria from some foods such as soft cheeses, soft serve ice cream just doing some research on this even though I am sure you are aware. some foods can affect pregnant women. beware of rice as it can often be cooked well in advance and left seat was not cooled before re-heated. This can carry a lot of bacteria. You can tell by the taste of freshly cooked.
basically stays where you can see have a high turn over of customers and the food was the way it was always fresh and simply cooked. beware of places with buffets where food may have been sitting for a long time or is touched by unwashed hands (like many people who share the serving utensils). salads, fruits and vegetables fresh and safe. if in doubt ask if the fresh fruit has been washed in tap water. kale can be one thing to stay away from as they are often grown in water, not unlawful.
there are supermarkets and shops that sell lovely fresh yoghurt, fresh milk and fruit that you can take back to your room and wash and peel yourself if you are a bit worried. I never had a problem with fruit and vegetables. Fresh fruit juice is very good on a hot day. drink plenty of water. it will be very hot
Hi
Yes, I do not eat raw vegetables, salads, fruits and fruit juices have. I also bought at the supermarket. Cheers!
Hi Scoofy
I agree that it is wise to eat outside the hotel as the food in there is often recycled and not refrigerated properly while in a busy restaurant that is not unusual because of turnover. busy restaurant is always the best and I would suggest eating only freshly cooked food. You can have your raw vegetables when you get home. best local restaurant for fresh food and it would be WISE to avoid places like MacDonald and other similar chains.
Breakfast at the hotel is usually okay because you can usually choose some yogurt and arrange for freshly cooked eggs or any.
The fruit is 100% safe when you can peel yourself, but do not wash them in tap water.
the most part, do not stress, take some red cordial with you and enjoy (ta.queueForLoad && ta? Ta .queueForLoad: function (f, g) {document.addEventListener ( 'DOMContentLoaded', f);}) (function () {ta.trackEventOnPage ( 'postLinkInline', 'image', 'postLinks-17,197,072', '' );}, 'log_autolink_impression');. great food and wonderful people
