However, factors specific risk associated with preeclampsia can be treated and managed-so if you're someone who is currently at risk, or if you have had preeclampsia in a previous pregnancy and looking to minimize your risk that the next time, there are some steps important that you can take to increase your chances.
There is no magic diet that can prevent preeclampsia. But eating lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats and lean proteins is always a good idea, whether you are pregnant or not. And because of the weight and BMI are the two that can be managed to help lower your risk, it helps to know what nutrients to keep an eye out and where to find them in order to help manage your weight, keep yourself healthy and support your baby's growth and developments along the way.
