urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common infection that most affect older adults, especially women. If you have an uncomplicated UTI, and you are otherwise in good health, the doctor may prescribe a shorter, such as the 3 day course of antibiotics. However, the type and length of treatment will depend on your health profile and specific symptoms. In addition, the doctor may prescribe pain relief medication burning during urination, but the pain is usually relieved shortly after starting antibiotic treatment. Here is some information to help you know what to do if you have a UTI infection to prevent UTI symptoms worsen you.
