I'm pretty sure that's what I have. I've spent two nights sleeping now. It started with diarrhea, the diarrhea and vomiting, then a lot of cramps, and now I throw up anything I put in my stomach. I've checked and the baby was fine, and the doctors and nurses do not worry about the baby. Of course, I'm still worried. I was sent home and told to rest and have a drink, but I could not sleep because I was very sick and I could not drink because it comes right back :( has anyone else during pregnancy? What do you do if everything is fine < / p>
Drinking coconut water to keep yourself hydrated .. Feeling better: ?? (
I'm sick Monday I got chills my body ache and vomiting and stomach ache all night I just hurting, on my third day better way I only drink water. gatorades mineral jello water and chicken broth soup
Thanks, everyone! I have a prescription for a drug that makes food and water down, so I already felt better and was able to drink without vomiting. this is the worst disease I've ever had in my life. Of course, it has to be when I was pregnant. I really do not care that I was sick because I can get past that. I only care about babies OK!
I'm ok after about 3 days. I was able to get nutrients from half tvch P
I somehow managed to get salmonella when I wa s 8 weeks. I was vomiting and diarrhea constantly. Losing 18 pounds in two weeks! It was really depressing, but the baby is fine as long as it all
Yes it is horrible !!! Vomiting and diarrhea great for 2 days. Flush your system with as much liquid as you can. Behind me so sick I had to just hose off in the bathroom because it burned so badly. The worst day of my pregnancy!
Hi I have gastroenteritis in 17 weeks. I could not keep anything down and got severely dehydrated and ended up on a drip in hospital overnight, they kept me in the maternity ward and checked on the baby okay I was given 2 different tablets anti sick and they help keep all something down. :) I'm 18 + 2 now and feel the baby move every so often. It's just pounding and feeling flappy so hopefully I will feel the real kick soon!
Thanks for taking the time to reply to everyone. It's really reassuring to hear that your baby is fine with all of this. I could care less that I was ill; I just want the baby is fine! How amazing is that our bodies can fight something so horrible and protect the baby? I 18w1d, so I have to feel palpitations for about a week. I still feel them, so it is always reassuring to me. My midwife had called to check on me and said he would do the Doppler on me at any time to hear the baby's heartbeat for peace of mind. I might take him that!
Around 14 weeks I was very sick. I could not keep anything down. Not me Zofran, diclegis not me, not a sip of water, not sip Gatorade. You get the point. It was so horrible. Finally, after 48 hours of vomiting atleast one hour (usually more) I went to the ER. I did not keep down fluids in the 60 hours and solids at around 48. They think it is a virus. I have 2 liters of IV fluids and Zofran. Baby fine with everything. (I have not had diarrhea. I was pretty dehydrated so I do not really have a lot of good urine)
I really feel your pain. If you do not stop immediately, sign in to the liquid.
Gosh! Its bad! I'm so glad everything is fine. I am so sorry you have to go through it.
I feel better and have been able to save some of the liquid down. I still pee color was good, so I do not dehydrate. Baby has been stretched a lot, and that makes me happy!
when I was 14 weeks I was very sick and had to throw hard for about 8 hours before I was forced to go to the ER. I could not even keep water down a spoonful down and I began to lose sensation in my limbs as a nurse so I knew I had no other choice but to go for fluids and IV meds. I have HG with this pregnancy so that in the end the doctors can not tell whether it's food or exacerbat posoningion but I knew it was food poisoning just as I also have had diarrhea day and even when I was vomiting 3-4 times a day I was able to keep the bottom SOMETHING.
My advice is if it gets so severe to the point where you could barely walk and you are about to faint to go to the ER because you may experience severe dehydration, but if you are able to manage some your fluid intake should be fine! baby can hold so much, I had a baby boy a healthy & I JUST stopped vomiting at 17-18 weeks ;.) still with nausea although at certain times of day
Yes, I got it at 17 weeks with my first. Not sure it was food poisoning, but act like it. I was treated in hospital for dehydration for several hours. They sent me home though before I stopped vomiting. Finally ended, I lost weight, but gained it back and the baby was / is fine!
