Breakfast: In the beginning of my pregnancy, I could not stomach much first thing in the morning but had to eat quickly so I would not feel like throwing up. I SUPER lucky that I did not have any morning sickness worse with one of my pregnancies. I usually eat some types of crackers first thing in the morning to soothe my stomach and could not do coffee early because it makes me sick to think about it. Although I do not usually drink soda, I would sometimes early in pregnancy to help get a little caffeine and settle my stomach.

Now I'm back to my typical banana and peanut butter + coffee routine. Sometimes I'll drink to grow wheat bread and top it with bananas and peanut butter. Because we always have milk on hand for Leyton I usually add a splash of it to me if I drink hot coffee or ice

Snack: I always have snacks on hand whether it's in my bag or my computer bag because I can not let my energy accidents, especially among exercise or fitness classes teaching while pregnant.

I shared with you last week in my IG story that I grabbed my strip in the car because it is a quick way to get protein and tastes delicious. Water Bottle :. If we are an indication of how important water is for me, you know it ranked high enough on my priority list! I pretty much always have a bottle of water on me because I knew if I did not do it, there is no way I would get my 8+ glasses of water a day. Sometimes at lunch I would opt for unsweet tea with lots of lemon to change it a little, but between living in the south where it's pretty much 90 + degrees and BOLD moisture in the air, exercise and being pregnant, I can almost never get enough water seems

Lunch :. Salad or eat children is the norm whether it is in Ashley Mac, Chick-fil-a, or anywhere else when I'm out and about. To be honest, when I get pregnant if there is a dessert to see (yes, I'm looking at you peach milk shake) I usually will get the smallest size. Hey, you're just pregnant many times, right ?? If I'm at home, I usually do the remnants of a meal, tuna salad or I / apple / balsamic vinegar combo

Snack :. When the baby continues to grow, I 'have discovered I could not eat a big meal so I usually get hungry again. Typically for this snack I will take watermelon (hello, pregnancy desire), cashew nuts, smoothies, or half an avocado with everything but the seasoning bagel on it

Dinner :. We continue to dinner super simple as you 've probably noticed by most of the recipes posted on my blog! Usually we just did the meat on the grill + vegetables. It helps me stay healthy, keep all efficient and help us spend less on groceries. We base what we buy for the week on what is sold in stores and filling is usually what is not sold at Aldi for our complementary recipes / snacks / etc

Dessert :. Ok, ok, so I usually do not eat dessert but when I was pregnant I found myself keeping the chocolate covered almonds and coconut in hands appeared some in the evening. Then there is the rare occasion when the baby wants some chocolate mousse cake batter or white and Eric are happy to run out to oblige. Ha!

Since I strive to exercise and eat healthy for most of that pregnancy is meant to be enjoyed as well so I try not to feel bad if I eat cake or blueberry donuts here or there. 😉 If you have any questions about what I mean when I say we try to eat clean, you can check out some of me and get more recipes and snacks Inspo!
